Position: Teller – OG II

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Education/Qualification:
    • Applicants must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
    • The degree should carry at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
  2. Age Limit:
    • Candidates must be no older than 28 years as of the last date of application submission.
  3. Experience:
    • While candidates with 1 year of relevant banking experience are preferred, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Teller – OG II, your role involves a range of responsibilities:

  1. Cash Handling:
    • Receive cash from the Branch Operations Supervisor or Branch Operations Manager.
    • Record denominations accurately for cashier and sorting functions.
  2. Account Services:
    • Provide account services to customers by handling deposits and withdrawals.
  3. Remittances and Bill Collections:
    • Facilitate remittances, utility bill collections, government receipts, and agency-based transactions.
  4. Cash Management:
    • Ensure effective cash management, including balancing and sorting cash.
    • Handle ATM-related transactions.
  5. Customer Service:
    • Maintain high standards of customer service.
    • Cross-sell bank products.
  6. Security and Compliance:
    • Maintain cash vault security.
    • Identify and report any unusual or suspicious cash activity.
    • Ensure Shariah compliance and rectify audit findings.
  7. Record Keeping:
    • Balance and reconcile cash vouchers.
    • Maintain accurate records.
